Our stay at Lakeside Suites was truly memorable. The hotel has thought of everything a traveler might need and provided it. The breakfast was a highlight, being both healthy and hearty, with a delicious variety that catered to all tastes. One of the best aspects of Lakeside Suites is the friendly management and staff. They go above and beyond to ensure every guest's needs are met. The room size is generous, and the bathrooms are equally spacious, providing a luxurious feel. The location is fantastic, centrally located in the heart of the Gariahat shopping district, right opposite AMRI Dhakuria, yet it remains a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The property itself is part of a housing complex where every three rooms share a kitchen and a hall room, adding a unique and homey touch. This setup makes it ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with kids. Despite being close to busy streets and iconic markets, the long driveway ensures that you reside in a calm and quiet locality. The location is superb, with the famous Rabindra Sarovar (Lake) just a stone's throw away. The cool breeze and chirpy mornings with birdsong make for a peaceful start to the day. The area is predominantly made up of small bungalows, giving it a posh and serene ambiance. Lakeside Suites is centrally located and close to everything: - Park Street Area is 3.5 km away. - Gariahat Market is only 0.2 km away, perfect for street shopping, wedding shopping, and essential shopping. - Quest Mall, with its multiplex and luxury brands, is just 3 km away. - South City Mall is 2 km away, offering a fantastic food court and multi-screen cinema for the latest movies. - Rabindra Sarovar and the Southern Avenue stretch, frequented by morning and evening walkers, are a 2-minute walk away. One of the highlights was the common area (or drawing room), which was perfect for family gatherings, conversations, and unwinding together. The hotel’s layout is thoughtfully designed, offering both convenience and a pleasant ambiance. The staff were friendly, responsive, and always available when needed, which made our stay even more comfortable. The location is another big plus. The hotel is within walking distance of Rabindra Sarobar — an artificial lake surrounded by greenery and a park. It's an ideal spot for a peaceful morning walk or jog. We stayed for two nights during Sep'24. The place scores high on many fronts - accessibility, helpful service, cleanliness of rooms and common areas, maintenance, amenities, decor of rooms and the lobbies, quality of breakfast - a complimentary one. Facilities include common pantries and dinner tables, where one can engage in self-cooking to enjoy simple food items, heat/reheat/toast food brought from outside, or even keep food items in the fridge for consuming it later. A beaming Ganesha idol is placed on a wall-mounted temple before one reaches the lift. Though we were away from home during the Vinayak Chaturthi, we could peacefully perform our humble prayers. Any service is provided with a smile here. It has added definite value to the service quotient. Highly recommended for a peaceful, joyous stay in a happening part of the City of Joy!
