Le Grace Inn (Iyer Bungalow)

Horrible experience in this place. We booked a standard AC room for 3 people. Immediately received a call from a guy who introduced himself and took our travel details before confirming he was blocking the room. But when we reached the property, the person in the reception said there are no AC rooms available, in spite of showing the booking details for which we have already made full payment!. I called and spoke to the guy in the reception but he abruptly disconnected the call and started complaining about to another person in the reception. From their conversation, I understood that they apparently gave our room to someone else in the morning. The other guy in the reception checked our booking details and said he’ll give us an AC room. However, the room condition that we got was pathetic, to say the least. As soon as they unlocked the room, there was a bad smell as if the room wasn’t used for months! But it was just the beginning. To our horror - the flush wasn’t working, bathroom door couldn’t be closed, there was no water heater, no towels, no water to drink, and the extra bed they provided had bad smell (it was looking like a floor mat, not sleeping mattress😡). I called again and asked him to come and see the room by himself. He came, scolded the helper in front of us, apologized for the mess, and asked us to adjust as we were staying for only 1 night!! We were speechless! We did not want to fight or argue with them as we don’t speak fluent Tamil and we were also very tired after a day-long bike ride from Bangalore. We decided to adjust..😢The only thing that we were happy about was the AC, which was much needed for us to have a good sleep. However, I STRONGLY ADVISE TO AVOID THIS PLACE.Very disappointed.

I had a horrible experience with this hotel. Despite having a confirmed booking, they did not provide us with a room upon arrival. On top of that, they refused to refund the money, leaving us stranded and frustrated. The management was unprofessional and unresponsive. This place is highly unreliable, and I would strongly advise against booking here. Avoid this hotel at all costs. And finally this is not hotel it is some kind of slum rooms used for something else.

The location was little far from city. Room is okay. But the front office people was not upto the mark. They should improve the welcome and service part to the customers. The corridor-was dust and not clean. No hot water in room itself . Towels and toiletries are based on many times request. Totally uncomfortable stay.

We have booked two rooms for 5 of us. Walls in one of the rooms have seepage. Towels, soap, and blankets are NOT provided. Parking is not available. We have to park on the road.
