The positive side of this place is the location, situated right in midst of the city & close proximity to forest entrance. So if don't want to waste your time, getting to main attraction of Periyar (Thekaddy) which boat safari/jeep safari & market, you should consider this place. If you are expecting this to be a hotel, than you are expecting too much. This is more of homestay & for us it was ok. When we reached there, nobody was present there due to there own personal reasons, keys were left behind at some secure place near the door. The basic requirements like the towel, soap was arranged 2-3 hours after our arrival. Overall ok at this price.

Road is narrow, no hot water, TV voice poor. Though I paid for the non-ac double room they wanted to put up another guest to my room
