I wish there was a way of giving this hotel a negative rating as this one is the most disgusting we visited till date. To start off with we were promised a room with balcony there is no balcony and we had a garbage view from the room (just like the hotel), the towels were stained and dirty (I am sure they had not been changed), we were travelling with a baby and were terrified on seeing the electric kettle provided to us was rusted, basics like coffee, dairy whitners, bathrobe, slippers etc were missing, dustbin did not have a garbage bag and to top it all we were served the same breakfast for both the days (exactly the same menu) and most of their counters had no food After looking at their refried medu vada and no sambhar at the counter we were forced to think that we were served previous days' leftover, which is why I asked for more sambhar and they had to prepare some specially for us since their kitchen was short of sambhar. When I brought my issues with the room to the notice of the manager sitting at the reception he started giving vague replies like "Sir we have only 3 rooms with balconies and cannot give to everyone" and "we gave you this room since you need silence since you are travelling with a baby". Irony is that our room was facing the highway and it was still noisy but they had nothing to say regarding the garbage that we could see from our room. All of the above problems in spite of us travelling during the Christmas break and paying a premium for our stay. The hotel barely had any occupancy during the festive season and they had bare minimum staff. Please avoid booking if you are looking for clean and hygienic stay with good food and decent services.

My stay at Hotel Port Palace was excellent, courteus and welcoming staff.we (me and my wife)stayed for one day at hotel,its right on main road with ample parking space and easy connectivity kovalam beach and the Azimulah shiv temple is very near just about 3 kms.The rooms are quite good ,value for money ,with good decor and aesthetics. we had the complementary breakfast ,which was par excellence.They had a beautiful spread of north indian and keralite cuisine. Excellent value for money

The photos of the hotel shown It is no where related to the current look and feel of the hotel. The hotel is old and not properly maintained. Moreover, the near by bar is a nuisance especially at night with parking problems.

location of hotel is on the road and easy to find it but neatest beach from it is kovalam which is about 4 km Room was spacious and clean but bathroom was not up to mark. Breakfast was also average.

Yes nice hotel, People were really helpful, due to Covid situation, Kerala was a bit closed, but these guys helped us. So 5star for their hospitality.
