Pathetic Service....The reception staff was good but the owner and the other staffs were not so friendly....They were very rude...we have booked our hotel..paid our money..but the owner was saying that he has not received the payment.Hence we had to wait for 1 hour just to confirm our stay...Don't go to this hotel...Go for other hotels or homestays but don't stay here.

Amazing hospitality. Great food. Polite staff. Given the proximity from heart of the city, this hotel is a great pick.
The only issue is room size but for the frequent Shillong traveller like me it was already expected.

Hotel and its staff are good but rooms are very small and some rooms doesn't even have windows.

ROOM SERVICE VERY POOR .I BOOK TOTAL 11BEDS BUT THEY ARE ALOOW ME ONLY 10BEDS BUT GOIBEBO HELPED ME GOIBIBO REFUND MY AMMOUNT .But hotel is realy poor beds are gandha some black spots on the bed ...please don't book this hotel any more ..

If you want a good night sleep, then do not book here. There is no soundproofing, and you will keep getting disturbed throughout the day/night.
Linens, towels, pillows have permanent stains, even though they were washed. Everything is pretty old. Bathroom was not clean.

Rooms are very clumsy, no TV, no restaurant, no drinking water, very pathetic stay at Ashutosh inn. from outside it's look like a ghost house.

The stay for single bed in this hotel was just average with decent room cleanliness and amenities.
What separates this hotel from others is their service quality by staff, they're very friendly and always there to help.
I needed to go from Shillong to Guwahati in morning 6, one Staff gave me his number asked me to call him in the morning and he got me a shared cab in decent price.
Forever grateful for that.
