I stayed at Hotel Carnation in Ooty recently and had a really pleasant experience. I had booked a regular room but was pleasantly surprised when the staff upgraded me to a premium room. The premium room was slightly bigger, and that extra space made a real difference. It had a charming classical touch, and the lighting in the room really added to the aesthetic. My friend Saravanan and I visited Ooty in 2022 for sightseeing, and from then on, Hotel Carnation became our favorite place to stay. Now, after my marriage, my wife and I have come here again, and just like before, they welcomed us warmly and took good care of us. I would recommend this place as a safe and pleasant spot for families to stay and explore. Just excellent view from my room and the hotel location is great. My family has enjoyed a lot and their restaurant MADRAS RASOI is outstanding, very delicious Paratha, Naan with chicken items and their breakfast Masala Dosa and Coffee are awesome, mind blowing.Mr David is in restaurant such a nice guy.

Decent Stay..The budget rooms do not offer a window view. However, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the hotel's restaurant, Madras Rasoi, was a disappointing experience. The food was overpriced and lacked good flavor. I would not recommend dining there. Location of the hotel and safety.

Decent stay...Good staff...Don't eat at Madras Rosai restaurant in the same hotel premises. The food is worst and overpriced.
