great location for Darbar Sahib darshan ,clean room. but very congested area if you want to come by car than need to take E riksha only.. or walk

The hotel host was very friendly and provided necessary information for sightseeing. The location is just two minutes walk to Golden Temple. Taxis cannot reach the hotel doorsteps as the street is narrow.

hotel gr residency is very near to golden temple. rooms, bed, bathroom were very clean. property seems to be newly constructed. food order and other services were addressed quickly and with humility. the owner was friendly and welcoming, made sure the guests had a comfortable stay. transport in and around the city was promptly arranged on request. if you are new to amritsar just check with the owner for transport arrangement, as cabs may not reach the exact hotel location. would highly recommend this hotel.

Staff were amazing and very generous hospitality. Room is very clean and comfortable. Hotel is very near to golden temple and walabag. Location also very nice like different experience like walking into small streets but to talk car some difficulties.

In gps it's showing that this hotel is 200 to 300 m away from gurdwara which is true but that is atta mandi gate, which is quite far from saragarhi car parking. Bettry rickshaws charge you 200rs. to 250rs. from parking to hotel and it is not possible for you to go by walking with luggage. Heritage Street is also far from this hotel, every time you come to the parking area or Heritage Street area you have to spend rs. 200. if we think about that we can go to the gurdwara and from there we can wa ...more

The hotel is near the back side of the Golden temple, only three minute walk will take you to the temple gate. The property is located in a congested area but all the basic facilities are up to the mark. The only draw back side is there is no restaurant attached. The owner is humble and helpful and we stayed here peacefully.
