so there was a security concern. a guy called me in my hotel room when i was alone. either the hotel management gave him my number or he followed me. the management didn't take any step and my friend had to shout at them. i called the management immediately but they didn't do anything at first then after 4 hours my friend came and she shouted and we got our room changed. the guy was trying to meet me in the lobby and i was very scared i felt i couldn't step out of my room alone. nobody was there ...more

Dear Goibibo Support Team,I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding our recent booking at Gulf Hotel Colaba made through your platform for 25.05.2025.We did not proceed with check-in due to the extremely poor hospitality and unacceptable conditions at the property. The hotel staff were rude and uncooperative from the very beginning. I stayed at Gulf Hotel, Colaba for 7 days during a work trip and had a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and elegantly designed—perfect for unwinding after a long day. The location is a major advantage, just a 5-minute walk from the Gateway of India and close to everything you might need. While the food was average, the excellent service more than made up for it. Staff were polite, attentive, and always ready to help. Overall, a great stay and definitely recommended!

The location of the hotel is very best. Staff behaviour was good and supportive. They even upgraded our room for free. We had some negative points like the entrance of the hotel was very scary and it was very noisy as renovation work was going on in the hotel.
