Kalden residency exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by Pema Lekhi and her family on our arrival, with a hot cup of milk tea and steaming bowl of Maggi! This warm welcome put us right at ease. The views from Pema Lekhi's place left us awestruck. Every morning before leaving for a trip and on returning, we soaked in the monolithic mountains and the waterfall from the most charming little kitchen I have ever seen.
The rooms are clean, cozy and warm, just what you need in that cold weather. ...more
