i have booked 5 deluxe room with so called mountain view but ended up getting 4 rooms in under ground.

It is a not good home stay. Towels, bedspreads,soap were not provided.Water Heater was not working properly. Room heater was not provided.Food charges are exhorbittently high and unreasonable. It is a bad experience to stay

The rooms provided to us are small and located in mezzanine floor. The rooms and washrooms are neat and clean. Though it is a home stay, we are not allowed into kitchen and they charged Rs.200 per day for cooking. They have provided water bottles without asking, but charged for them at the time of checkout. Staff are helpful. Overall experience is ok.
All three rooms are given in same floor.

At the time of booking the amenities that were given to be available in the room were not there. No towel, no soap, TV was there but without set top box and remote, tables were not cleaned properly. After asking for the things at about 6p.m., we got the things one by one till 9 p.m. after calling at the reception several times. Better think before booking.

settled in upper shillong, the home stay offers good clean rooms. my room was very small in space with dim light. the bathroom was good. food was good.

The rooms are very clean and well maintained. Staff is helpful. The owner's house is very well decorated. Food is delicious but the price is somewhat high. But it is around 10kms far from the main Shillong city market police bazar. Need to take taxis if you want to go shopping or roam around in the evening.

Hotel location is good away from city traffic..but food quality and service is too poor.Hotel manager is co operative but due to less staff they could not provide good service.
