The place could use with a thorough cleaning. The hotel reception failed to provide us with information on a reliable taxi service for a navagraha temple visit. This could be a point of concern for outstation travellers as was in our case. Furthermore on 20th December despite informing the reception of our check out around 10AM and request for help with our luggage, nobody turned-up. Rooms and location is very good but service quality and food and cleanliness are very poor. In reception, we have informed to clean the room in morning when i come in night there was no cleaness of the rooom and its starts smelling .. We stayed at RAS residency as a family and everyone liked it. No complaints. Room Quality was good and it looked neat and clean.
Food was also good. I would recommend it for all Kumbakonam visitors.

I stayed at Ras Residency with my elderly parents for 3 nights and 4 days,we were out most of the time,but visited during noon to rest and stayed the whole night. The experience was absolutely comfortable,rooms were spacious enough for 3 of us,we paid with our package and got another bed. my dad and mom slept comfortably,I too felt really good with the overall stay. reception staff were kind, courteous and arranged for room cleaning whenever we asked for. washroom could be a lil more spacious,bu ...more
