Great family. There lives a family of 5. Great food. Cooking on the spot before serving. Classic homestay. Great view of kanchenjunga from a nearby viewpoint. however, since it's a remote place and altitude is quite high, the cold is challenging. 2 degrees 1 degrees is normal in winters. also, hot water supply is limited-time. no phone in the room to call someone for help. you have to find them in the homestay physically. no tv also, but we rarely use tv in hotels so no problem there. no water b ...more

Very average room with no basic amenities like a geyser. No Geyser. No proper room service available. Every time have to go upstairs and looking out someone for anything needed.
