The resort location is very nice and close to the lakefront. The view and seabreeze is a charm to the place. The pool is good. The cottages and the surroundings is nicely setup, but everything looks very old and needs lot of maintenance. There is a restaurant but it is closed, so we have to order food from a nearby restaurant (number given by the resort) or use swiggy/zomato. The TV in one of the rooms was not working. It was our second time at Serene lake Resort, Varkala, and you can see in those images, those are the reasons why we chose this resort, it has a beautiful lake view and the ambience of the resort is very beautiful, and the atmosphere there is very calming, The staff are very supportive, friendly and helpful. The staff was very wonderful and catered to my every need. The room was impeccably clean, and all the facilities were in perfect working order. Thank you for your excellent hospitality, and I hope to stay at Star Hotel again soon.
