the taj hotel at patna is good and the staff is courteous. however, it falls short of the standards that taj maintains at the other properties. the shortage of staff is palpable and they need some real good training to bring them at par with their peers. the food is average; not as impressive at other taj properties. but what is the big let down is the location of the hotel. it is situated in the most chaotic part of the city and is surrounded by congested streets. a drive of just 500m on the final sections of approach roads may take you about 45 minutes
