I recently stayed at Tehyca in their cabin accommodation, and it was a memorable experience with a mix of positives and areas for improvement. 1. A pristine, tranquil, secluded stay, nestled in a lap of nature, in mountain slope. We stayed in cabin 3 which is situated some 250 steps further below. If you want stay few days with real peace away from urban cacophony, this is the ideal. Food is provided by order three times by nearby restaurant as they have no in house kitchen. Beautiful stay. Me and my wife were sick, so it was ideal for us because the view from the room is breathtaking. You can just sit outside and take in the sun and cool breeze and read a book. The food was really problematic -- they don't have a kitchen, and you need to get food from opposite Zostel kitchen (where the cooks are going to give you heart problems because of the amount of oil they use). awesome heavenly place near poombarai, we stayed here for 2 dayspros:1.good private atmosphere.2. care taker available3. have a dog here named legend , u can take him around within the property4. campfire and barbeque available5. waterfall nearby6. caretaker will bring in 3 times food for you7. 24 hr hotwater supply8. clean and tidy maintenancecons1 . no mirror2 . beware of monkeys3. cabin pod wont be easily accessible by elders since it required more than 200 steps to walks down
