The 5-night stay at Hotel Thikana Palace was mediocre and not recommended for families. The atmosphere was with smoking and disturbing incidents like beer bottles being thrown. Staff were responsive but lacked courtesy, as exemplified by a dismissive response regarding hot water. The worst experience involved a forced room change due to construction, handled unprofessionally by a receptionist, leading to a noisy room that caused a headache. Overall, the stay was disappointing due to the disruptive environment, poor staff attitude, and mismanagement of construction issues.
