area being residential for natives is quite off side for tourists but the street has food outlets and safe. the rooms are very very small with washroom the size of a train toilet. the host is very helpful, thankfully i had booked deluxe room cause although that room was given to someone else the host made prompt rectifications by shifting us to our booked room. the local restaurants offer home delivery and the dishes are lip smacking. if you are on tight budget a d short stay, this is the best.

We stayed here for five nights. It was like a home away from home. David is really helpful in every way. He arranges every need even at midnight. Those were an unforgettable five days in Fort Kochi. Thanks David. We will look forward to staying there again.

I love to staying in this Valiyathayil homestay if any one is coming to fort kochi i prefer this Valiyathayil homestay nice and best prize near to beach ilove this place. i like to be stay alone and travel alone to find my self inthis world

An average experience as most of the amenities shown with the room were either not available or shared by all the guests. Torn out towel in the bathroom, Out of order refrigerator in the kitchen, no house keeping & room service during our two days stay, no staff available for these jobs and four full plates, 3 small glasses and one spoon in the name of crockery/ cutlery in the kitchen are the indicators about maintenance of the Home stay.
