The Hotel location is quite remote and has frequent and long power cuts, during which time the water supply in the Toilets also stops automatically.
The quality of the food was also very bad and our entire family came down with a severe case of food poisoning. We had to manage sick from 2AM till 8AM with no power, no heating and no running water, relying solely on our personal supply of bottled water. The hotel is new and extremely beautiful. The rooms are cozy af. They have geyser and heater. food is also great. The only problem is the location. The hotel is 15km away from the main pahalgham area. You have to book private cab for 15km that will charge you around 1-1.5k.

hotel was good, food was average, its around 20 min drive from pahalgam, location is good, main issue we had at the property was heating system, i had to call reception whole night. after every 1hr their electricity backup was restarted and AC was turning off. we call reception and they check and correct . it happened whole night otherwise everything else was good. did not expect this kind of inconvenience after booking a hotel in 5k INR. doesn't look like worth it.

The garden area was perfect for our morning tea and chats. The hotel's location made it easy for us to explore Pahalgam's beauty and the staff was extremely accommodating. The room was neat and the view from the windows was stunning. It felt like a dream to wake up to such natural beauty.

It was the best decision. The peaceful ambience and clean, comfortable rooms made me feel so relaxed. The staff ensured I had everything I needed from helping plan my local sightseeing to serving hot meals in my room.

The property is well maintained and the location is ideal for those seeking tranquility. We particularly love the traditional decor and the warm hospitality of the staff. The food was fresh and absolutely lip smacking. Pahalgam's beauty combined with this wonderful hotel made it a trip to remember.

Visiting Pahalgam has always been on my bucket list and staying at Walnut Tree made the experience even more memorable. The room was spacious, clean and cozy offering a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery. The staff was attentive and polite always ready to help. Whether it was relaxing in the lawn area or enjoying the evening tea on the balcony every thing felt so perfect.

The vhill of the valley was intense but hotel provided a reliable heater that kept my room toasty warm. The staff deserves special mention for their friendly and professional demeanor. The food was exceptional. The lawn area is well maintained providing a serene spot to enjoy the crisp mountain air.
