The room was tiny. As there was no ventilation it was stinking. The corridor was also smelling bad as there was no main door to the common washrooms. Overall an horrible experience.

During my stay at what I thought was Welcoming B and B near Crawford Market, booked, I encountered some unexpected challenges. Despite booking under the name "Welcoming B and B," upon arrival, I realized the hotel was actually referred to as Hotel New Bengal or Hotel Crawford Inn. This initial confusion made locating the hotel difficult. Additionally, the single room I booked turned out to be cramped and lacked ventilation, causing discomfort. The ambiance is clean and good but for a single person to stay, the size of the room is too small. The cost of a single bed room without bathroom is too high. They asked for direct payment at the hotel. I booked for nearly they charged ₹200 for check in at 9AM because in app check in is 12PM.
