Please stay away from this property if you want a peaceful vacation. Not a singe positives. Initially booked for 2 nights. Somehow managed to stay for a night and cancelled the second one and escaped. Let me put my horrible experience. 1. Google Maps showed wrong direction. We reached Kodai at 9 PM then bumped to a dead end in one of the hill. Location It is 5.6 km from lake area and approach road is in bad state, if you are coming in your own vehicle great for you not so great for your vehicle, if coming via cab- every pick-up or drop one way is going to cost 500/- In front is the mountains and backed by pine forest where you can go for walk, excellent for people who want to get away from city noise. 2. Reaching to this place itself a challnege and once after we reach we were asked to wait by the hotel receptinist for 15 min as room was not cleaned though we reached hotel by 3Pm and standerd check in time was 12PM. After that we could not find the clean blanket and linens but somehow managed and during dark hours we obserbed invwrter was not working and 45 min we were in the dark room. 1) Rooms are dirty 2) If you have a car driving to this location to be a nightmare (google map leads you to deadend so it will take multiple iteration to reach and roads are scary and isolated) 3) smelly and dirty washrooms 4) staff behaviour is bad. 5) no resturant nearby to order food they have a resturant that sell cold tasteless food. 6) not good for families or couples only for a bunch of friends who want a cheap place to spend night. Everything is so bad that we wanted to deny the checkin but they refused
