I stayed in this Lodge with my wife and son from 02/09/2014 to 04/09/2014. I had very good experience here because both husband and wife, the owner of this lodge take personal attention to the guest. If we need any kind of help from them they solve them immediately. One day we wanted to go the market the rain starts and we asked them pl call a taxi.They told us that do not worry We will drop you there and they dropped us where we wanted to go not even that they gave us 2 umbrella and one rain coat for my wife for the safeguard from rain. One day I told them that we wanted to make a chicken from my style they allow us to do that and offer all things we need and we made it in their kitchen. To see these things I promised them that next time whenever I come to Srinagar with my family I will make at least one week holiday and stay there and I recommend others to stay there if you want to enjoy Srinagar. You will enjoy Johns Lodge stay with three thing Hotel plus Home away from Home and main thing is hospitality.

awesome hospitality and took care of our every requirement like a family. we never felt that we went in a hotel or resort but to our home far home. we took back very good memories and made some very good friends way to our home. again thanks for awesome mutton made especially for us by the owner herself. I will certainly advise to check the place. try to go in peak season and call the hotel before u go there, they will guide you with the best time and way. they surely are very helpful and are very safe and secure.

Nice property and clean rooms. Cut off from the hustle bustle of the city. So if you want peace this is the place for you. It was nice talking to the host family. Very helpful they are. The WIFI was not working but they arranged for a spare SIM with internet pack for me.

I booked this lodge via Goibibo and found it to be locked when i reached there. Very bad experience. Although i was refunded but it created a lot of nuisance
