Sandbanks Beach Villas, Morjim

It is a newly constructed property so looks good , location is at morjim beach , offers view of beach only from their restaurant, not happy with the stay as - 1)water supply is salty and smelly , untreated water supplied for bath , brush and bath tubs , even after complaining for it nothing was done , water was very hard and salty 2) Staff at reception Mr has no courtesy and etiquette of how to speak to his customers even though she is a female , bad tone of voice , rude 3) No sound proofing as we could hear adjacent villa guests sounds, loud conversation of housekeeping staff and music from neighbouring property 4) Approach to this property is very bad and has no road , it is muddy and full of bumps , no nearby restaurant and their restaurant is also functional for fixed hours only , no 24 X 7 food or housekeeping available 5) Complimentary drinking water is limited to 2 small bottles per individual and they charge u for anythg extra asked6) If u ask for more than 2 towels a day they show doubts in provision of the same 7) Rooms dont provide any view of beach 8) Breakfast timing starts from 9 am and we were not able to take breakfSt even after paying for it in advance as they were not able to prepare it , only 2-3 sandwiches were provided on repeated requests which were initiated a day prior only 9) Limited breakfast buffet option , not a good spread , charge u for a chach or lassi for breakfast if they dont have any juice or drink in their breakfast spread 10) Place is not lively and understaffed 11) Staff not ready to assist u if u ask for decoration or special arrangements for any occasion 12) pool is very small 13) I saw one of the front desk senior staff standing at the restaurant and eating from breakfast buffet infront of guests from food which was for the guests 14) In villa rooms TV is on lower floor only and not in bed room 15) Property inside is not pavemented and full of sand so difficult to walk with a long dress or heels 16) Common jacuzzi outside restaurant not well maintained and looked dirty so we didnt hv courage to utilise it 17) All staffs are undertrained and not primed with goa's atmosphere, they are still priming themselves to the place and hospitality basics Pros- Mr Mathura at restaurant is very humble and cordial , food is good , beach is just adjacent to property ,for view only villa no 12 can offer some beach view Sunset view from sundeck over restaurant is good 2 stars only for food taste and view from restaurant Rude staff at front desk , hard salty untreated water , poor state of amenities , approach is dark , muddy and difficult

Pleasant Stay with Some Room for Improvement My recent stay ate Sandbanks Beach Villas,Morjim was during the weekdays, allowing for a quieter experience with only about 30% occupancy. I chose to book a villa for the added comfort and space. The hotel's location is excellent, offering a serene atmosphere. The staff, including Amit, stood out for their exceptional kindness and helpfulness throughout my stay. Accommodation: The villa I stayed in was meticulously clean and well-maintained. However, a notable downside was the salty tap water, which posed an inconvenience. Facilities: o Hot Water: The geysers installed outside the villas struggled to provide consistently hot water, and the water pressure was inconsistent. o Food: While the quality of the food was commendable, the variety of options was somewhat limited. Overall Experience: Despite the minor issues with water quality and hot water availability, my overall experience was positive. The peaceful ambiance, cooperative staff, and clean accommodations contributed to a pleasant stay. I would recommend for those seeking a tranquil getaway with attentive service. While there are areas for improvement, such as water quality and hot water provision, the positives outweighed these minor inconveniences. I look forward to returning and experiencing further improvements.

It was as I expected it to be. Truly value for money, excellent location (although if you want to visit the popular restaurants in Anjuna, it takes more than 30 minutes by car). It was fairly clean and the food was good. I stayed there this week and since it is the rainy season, not many visitors and so it was quiet and some shops nearby were closed.

Amazing stay. They have huge and clean rooms. Room service is quick and staff is courteous. Manager Amit takes care of all your needs. They have beach access from their resort which is a plus point. I will definitely revisit the place. Can’t comment on food as I had all my meals outside but there cold coffee and Dal rice was great.
