Worst resort experienced in my life. This is a resort with frequent power cuts and no proper backup. Food is poor to very average in terms of variety and tatse. Being a so called resort close to sea, it's very pathetic that these guys don't have fish varieties to cook. No buffet for lunch or dinner and it's strictly alacarte. AC is malfunctioning in the room and the so called technician blamed it on voltage fluctuations and promised to resolve within 10 mins and he never turned up. Front office help desk has no idea. For these people foreign tourists are gods and i have no idea how these foreign tourists are attracted to this place. May be they have no idea how pathetic this place would be before actually visiting this place. Except beach and pool there is nothing special about this place. Stay is overpriced a lottt and any activity like fishing with fiaher man, etc is assocaited with cost. There are far better resorts available around and i recommend people to look for alternatives after proper due diligence. I DO NOT RECOMMMEND THIS PLACE EVEN FOR MY ENEMIES. I WASTED MY MONEY IN THIS CRAP.

This is a great place if all you care about is a relaxing and peaceful stay on your vacation. You could sit by the beach on sugary white sands gazing at the sea become one with the sky, as the relentless waves try to get to you, the with literally no one but a few tiny crabs to give you company. The cottages are well maintained and has got open wash rooms. Absolute silence and cut out from the outer world, even without proper cellphone coverage. The SPA requires a little upkeep and maintenance. The pool is great, but who needs it anyway :) Food is pricey but if you don't care to travel a few miles to the highway, just go with it, its tasty and fresh. The breakfast was not buffet, but you need to order from a set menu - that was a little weird.

the resort is very nice n clean.. awesome ambience.. the negative point is :food they had very less menu items and in that too items were not available when we asked for crab.. they told us to take sea food platter in whixh one crab will be there.. on asking only crab..din want platter as don't eat all items from that.. they told crab is not available next day reason for not having sea food is no season another day..since we had a large party...all stock got over the food was not tasty.. din like the taste at all plus they were short of staff in kitchen I feel after paying a huge amount for this resort.. din feel that service was upto mark

Off beaten path to resort welcomed by courteous staff and members, with 24hr help desk. Amazing room with subtle lighting and a wow washroom; open air shower under the stars and trees. Resort has its own beach, can hear waves from your room. Breakfast quality varies day to day, omelettes with sausages are a must to order. Mostly dined outside the hotel for local experience. Very very good location if you want to relax by yourself/family/partner. About half hour away from Allepey backwaters boat rides and 15-20 from allepy beach. Quaint place along the private beach, beach walks, stargazing, open air washroom experience.

The property is good. We arrived late at the resort and requested for food but they couldn't arrange it. But the complimentary breakfast was really good. Rooms were average, less maintained. Wifi was available. They have a dedicated parking available. The resort is safe to stay but in night we were careful as we were alone in the property. The staff was okay. The resort is very near to Marari beach. The resort itself has a private beach also. There is also a common swimming pool available in the property.

Good for family. Felt nothing special. It would've much nice if a welcome drink was provided. Sanitizer at the entry or at room shouldn't have avoided. Waste paper and etc found in waste bin provided in bathroom which was not so good. The wifi was kept disconnecting frequently. No good battery was available in TV remote but we put the good ones from AC remote.The staff were good. Safe place.Calm quite place.A good pool is there. Food is costly but felt normal in quantity and quality.

They upgraded our room as a complimentary gesture. That room was really good. They have an in house restaurant and food there was good too. They have a dedicated parking also. There's a common pool available. It was a little difficult to reach there but the hotelier gave us the directions. The best part about his resort is that it is a beach property. There are only few rooms in this resort and not much people staying at once, so it was quite calm.

It was very average experience at the hotel especially the cold welcome at reception and food was below par with lack of variety of seafood and also the facilities within the room wasn't great nor working. The cost and experience doesn't match at all. But location is great. The restaurant staff Jibin and Sooraj were very hospitable. They are the only members who kept the service at certain standard.

i have been staying at many hotels just for sea view or river view but let me share that perhaps no other hotel can beat Taj Malbar in offering perfect view of open sea /port port is so close ..just few hundred feet away you can see ships cruising dolphins can be spotted most of the time from window of the room or from open air restaurant food reasonable service excellent

The property is just fab & the accommodation they provided to me was very comfy & spacious & even their staff's services were great. They even provided complementary breakfast to me was delicious too. It's very conveniently located too. I had an amazing experience staying over here.

It's located on the beach and away from main road, service was just excellent, swimming pool was very small only suitable for kids. Beach was not was very aggressive in the month of June & July so not allowed to go during this time. over all very good experience with resort.
