ShivAdya - A Luxury Boutique Hotel

I stayed at Shivadya along with my wife for couple of days in April 2017. We had a great time and loved every minute of it. Shivadya is located ~12 kms before Manali city on the Naggar road in the village Karjan. The location is ideal if you want to spend time away from the cacophony and the noise of the city. For the nature lovers, the resort is surrounded by hills on all side. There are a few treks in the mountain leading to beautiful waterfalls, which the owners will be glad to arrange for you. The resort has 360 degree view of the snow capped mountains. The resort itself has been handcrafted and built with a lot of passion and love by the owner Ritesh. They have taken inspiration from the architecture of the traditional houses in the hills. Each of the rooms has been designed in its own unique way and are a perfect combination of tradition and luxury. The owners Ritesh and Nilam are awesome hosts. We had such a good time at the resort that we did not feel the need to go outside the resort. Ritesh himself accompanied us on our nature treks. We spent a lot of time with them and their family. They made us feel like a part of the family and it felt just like home. In fact on one of the days, my wife prepared biryani in the resort kitchen for all of us. Coming to food, the restaurant does not have a preset menu. The cook prepares excellent food at the request of the guests. We had a very good time at Shiadya and cant wait to go back on our next vacation.

5*rates-0*services Poor services.. rooms are not equipped with water cattle even, moreover you can't get tea at morning 6AM, because there is no staff at hotel .. manager is so rude that he will say you know straight away and will switch off his mobile.. Charging rate of a 5*property, but services are poor than that of a home stay. You can't get a morning tea even at 6AM, because their staff is not available.. pathetic.. when We called up the duty manager, he told that the same is not possible and than switched off the mobile... if you meed any thing.. even water in the nights, you are gone.. because no one is there to help you.. pls help yourself is the way of serving this hotel.. breakfast in the morning: has lesser options than a state tourism hotel.. rotten watermelon and precooked cold food was served.. when I told the staff, there was no sorry on their words.. just took back the rotten watermelon..

Book this resort if you looking for scenic location, best for nature loving people. This around 12km from Manali away from noise of city. Very much clean, beautiful rooms, great views from rooms and resort areas. All side mountains, clouds. We had great time here, staff is very nice, treat with respect and takes care of all what u need. Food is awesome, we had Chinese and Indian food as well it was very nice. Cabs can be arranged for roaming in Manali places. Overall it's nice :) not enough words to express what it is and how it feels to stay here :)

The property is a true beauty. If your idea of a vacation is to spend some quality time in the wilderness and far away from the hassle & mundaneness of the fast city life, then this is the place for you. From calm, serene & mesmerising views to the most hospitable staff, this property has plenty to offer. Approachability from the main city is a slight issue, but that is made up for by the quite & peaceful surroundings.
