We had booked the Suite Room (the most expensive room category at Hotel Shivas Inn) for our stay via Goibibo, expecting a premium experience. However, upon arrival, we were extremely disappointed with the condition of the room. It was completely unclean and untidy – the bathroom door wouldn't close, the balcony was dirty, the bed was not made properly, and the overall appearance of the room felt as though it had been unused and uncleared for days. It truly felt like we were checked into a used, unprepared room. We immediately raised our concern with the hotel manager, after which we were shifted to an Executive Room, which is a lower category room and significantly cheaper than the Suite we had originally paid for. While the new room was clean and much better maintained, it was not the room we had booked or paid for. We are writing this to request a partial refund – specifically, the difference between the Suite Room and the Executive Room charges, as we did not get the service we booked through Goibibo. We request the Goibibo team to kindly coordinate with the hotel management and process a refund for the difference in room tariff at the earliest. Looking forward to a resolution.

We were non-smoking room but when we entered room it was smelling of cigarettes smoke. The room boy promptly, as per his understanding sprayed the room which we were not expecting as it just adds more chemicals in room air. The window could not stay wide open so that it will allow fresh air. Hence though we paid for AC room, it was not worth it. Later we found the previous guest had left cigarettes ash inside a drawer that kept thd smell throughout the night. The room floor was not cleaned properly Breakfast was another issue. The restaurant room was smelling of leftovers on the table. The delay in morning tea at 7 O' clock itself gave us idea if breakfast could ready at 8 and our doubt was correct.They have eatery at entrance to servecoutsiders that was also used as breakfast kitchenThe building is new and can be put to good use if maintained regularlyBased on availability you might end up in such hotel hence thought of sharing.

The hotel is very comfortable to stay. The room is spacious and very clean. The bed, pillows and quilt were also very clean. The location is also very peaceful. The hotel has facility to park 4 cars one behind other but the road is quite wide. Car can also be parked on side of road. There is no parking issue. The hotel has watchman at night as well. There is nice restaurant and bar available. If need to try some other restaurant do visit Patil Wada which is just 5 min walk from hotel pls be assured of comfortable stay here. I will surely visit here next timeroom is very spacious and clean. The ac is also functional. Bed, bedsheet, pillow, quilt all clean.passage is also very cleanrestaurant ambience is also nice. Veg and non veg both options available. Morning time it opens around 8am and breakfast availableRoom is spacious, clean and neat. Had a comfortable stay

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. Date of stay: October 2023 Trip type: Travelled as a couple rooms

Initially we booked for a larger room, however we found some cochroaches there, hence we had to adjust with.a smaller room. The slit of our room window was broken, but they fixed it with for time being. The area is good.. altogether not a bad hotel to not select at such a good price. The distance of mahalaxmi temple is just few minutes away which is a major plus point. They have a limited parking so our car had to be adjusted and parked somewhere else.

"Had a great stay at this hotel! The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were clean and beautifully maintained, making for a comfortable experience. The food was delicious and well-prepared. However, the washroom, despite looking good, had a bad odor, which was a bit unpleasant. Apart from that, everything else was excellent. Would recommend this hotel with a small improvement in this area!"

The room size was good. I had opted for stay in non ac room with complimentary breakfast. The fan was not up to the mark. The breakfast provided next day was horrible. Dosa was burnt and like rubber. We asked to change it. It was not informed that we will get other option but it will take time. It took almost 1.5 hrs for us to complete with breakfast. Will never recommend having food here.

The location is in the center of the city, close to mahalaxmi temple, bus stand and railway station, all toiletries and linen were good. Well stocked bar and ambience of rooftop restaurant is wonderful. Food and bar prices are low compared to other hotels nearby. Also must try their authentic kolhapuri mutton, chicken thali and rassa.

Budget hotel, parking necessarily on main road, hotel ambience was good, room was neat, upholstery was clean. AC was making extra noise, but cooling was proper. Toilet was not very clean, but seeing cost paid, it's ok. Overall, good stay especially on budget.
