i have booked the hotel and the experience was quite ok...faced a problem while checkin as i have booked the ac cottage room but were not accepting....then i forced them to give me the same which i have booked as i had paid 9000/night,rest everything was fine....location wise also its good,just 5km far away from Kovalam city...hotel is good for the honeymooners and also for Ayurvedic Treatments...wants to rate it as 3.5 out of 5...

Fantastic resort and stay in front of the ocean view, rooms are old traditional style and good yet little small, walk 50 mts you are in the beach and its a refresh. Food is very good at this place we stuck to our ala-cart menu during lunch and dinner. Should try their Ayurvedic therapy its unique and refreshing and authentic. Overall a value for money and excellent stay..

I had booked for 4 rooms n we went on time but they said rooms are full n asked as to move soma theeram to another resort of them..but that is not close to beach..finally we have been transferred to soma palm shore near light house at Kovalam. they said it has private access to beach but that was closed since sea was rough. so totally had a bad experience eith them

We stayed Manaltheeram during 19 Oct to 20 Oct. Its an awesome resort located just next to the beach with a very good sea view from the restaurant. Its occupied mostly by the Foreign Tourists who stay there mainly to take the Ayurveda Treatment. Rooms are basic but that is mitigated by the great scenic beauty offered by the Resort. Overall its a great experience.

Awesomely located near Kovalam beach, its one of the best hotel with almost all the beautiful things you would hope for,...Beautiful private beach, nicely arranged accommodation.. good food,.... One thing which I felt bad about is that staff lacks attention towards customers, leading to poor service many times..

The location is very exotic but the staff's attitude is not 'welcoming'. They offered free consultation at their ayurveda clinic within the hotel premises. The doctor took hardly a minute or 2 to review my cause of foot pain without even touching or asking for reasons for it. Poor service.

Very nice resort......just don't have words to express it. Cottages are great. Breakfast a bit stale with low on north indian food variety as it is on ayurveda theme. A-la-carte was great as they take time to cater order but it is fine as they prepare fresh food.

Beautiful location. cant beat falling asleep to the sound of waves hitting the rocks. beach is just a stones throw away..very good service. the stay was pleasant overall. Will be staying here whenever we are in tvm.

Very peaceful and calming place. We stayed in the special cottages and being able to sit outside and just watch the ocean without too much of disturbance was very relaxing.

Nice locatiom and ammenities for complete and healthy relaxation. Food served is vegetarian but ask for a-la-carte menu with non veg options.
