Hi! I’m Haresh Parab, a professional civil engineer with over a decade of experience in the construction industry. While I build structures for a living, hosting guests is something I do from the heart. I run a cozy homestay in Saligao, Goa, where guests can unwind in a peaceful, village setting that’s still close to popular beaches like Calangute and Baga. With my background in design and planning, I’ve ensured the space is not only comfortable but thoughtfully built to offer both privacy and a local touch. I’m deeply passionate about Goan culture, architecture, and food. One of my favorite things is sharing authentic, home cooked Goan meals with our guests a true taste of our heritage. I also enjoy discussing travel, construction, and architecture with curious guests I started hosting after designing and building my own home, which friends often described as too welcoming to keep private. That inspired me to open it up to travelers seeking a true Goan experience. Hosting gives me the joy of meeting people from across the world, sharing stories, and offering a home where guests feel safe, cared for, and a little more connected to Goa than when they arrived.
