Super Townhouse Royapettah Near U.S Consulate

This is my second visit at this property. Good things - Location, Cleanliness, budget friendly, decent space in the room Things of concern - Professional etiquette of the support staff, they are brash and indifferent without any regard for a guest. Among the front office staff, Mr Jagan is a sweet guy, he is helpful, cooperative and quite understanding, he is also polite in his approach. On the contrary, one Mr Kavin was quite curt and lacked smoothness in his talk. What attracts guests to a property is the smiling and warm approach of the staff and their helpfulness, that makes up for any flaw in the property. Perhaps it is the lack of training and not realizing the importance of a guest appropriately. For eg: The exhaust fan in the rest room was not working. It wasn't fixed till the date I left. secondly, I was woken up right in the morning and asked to move to another room citing maintenance issues. Guess these things should be better planned before assigning a room to a guest. Toiletries- Given that this is a Oyo Townhouse property, I expected better toiletries but it was a huge disappointment Neighbourhood- Despite the best location, comfortable rooms and cleanliness, it is not meant for those who have a late start to the day. There is a constant sound/music/songs almost every other day thanks to the adjoining religious shrines. In case you have a late night and plan to wake up a bit late at your convenience, you might not be that lucky. Guest policy - The property doesnt allow guests to the room. Now, what happens to those who need to discuss important business or private matters? Does Oyo expect them to sit in the lobby and do so, This is an uncomfortable policy for sure. Keeping the above challenges aside, this is a property worth staying.

it was bad experience right from day one..first when I wanted to see the rooms before checkin the receptionist said all rooms full to come next day..I made payment and went to check in the other day..the receptionist asked me to pay extra and he was very rude and unprofessional in his approach..I told him I have made payment already for which he said that it's not updated and if u want to stay in our hotel u need to pay..no options left i paid and checked in..below are my experiences.1. first thing the room given to us had no key they gave us an adhaar card of one of their staffs to operate and said the room does not have access card.2. The bathroom was really dirty and smelly..I called up to clean the bathrooms but to no effect.3. No complimentary water bottle in room I was asked to pay on first day then when I informed reception they provided from next day..4.I had to extend 1 more day as my train got cancelled for which the hotel charged me 2000 for single day saying it's weekend when approached the owner himself he did not consider our request I ended paying the amount less 100 which 1900 considering the room and service was very very high.5. The receptionist is very rigid and has no consideration and service for the hotel guests.6. Bed spreads were not cleaned properly and were stained and smelly.7. Only good thing was breakfast was complimentary and another good thing it has a restaurant in same building which serves good food.8. Overall it was a bad stay at this hotel and I will not recommend any of this reading my review to stay here..

My experience was quite satisfactory and the main reason for that was the staff at the reception desk. I would like to appreciate Mr Vaidyanathan in particular for his proactive support and his willfulness to help in every aspect. Same goes to Mr Suhail.

asking extra money during checkin, very rude and worst staff behaviour. ruined a good and wasted plenty of our time we are very late for our workshop.. i refused to pay extra 500 so they made us wait and refused to talk nicely
