We booked the place for two nights. With their breakfast and dinner package it is a great deal. The property is an old building in a camp that has been renovated. They have done a good job with it. There is a fireplace in the main spacious room coupled with an entry room. They have given it the feel of a room back from the 80's. This is seen in the switches, furniture and flooring tiles. Situated close to golf links one must go for an early morning walk to pillar rock and see it without any crowd. It is highly recommended. The food is good. They have a recreation area for kids and adults to keep themselves engaged. Overall it is a great property with a very old school vibe to it.

There was one card place holder that was missing. Its was just a piece of plastic we never saw it inside the room.On checkout the management blamed us that we stole the plastic card. It’s 100-200 rupees plastic and they were blaming us. they blamed us for 200 rupees. Stupid people why would someone steel that piece of paper? Whats the value of it. They destroyed the whole mood of visiting that place. If someone is planning tk stay here, please make a video once you enter the room. Otherwise they will blame you for anything missing.

Great place to have a relaxed vacation in Kodaikanal. The staff are warm, welcoming and very helpful. The property has the perfect blend of old antique elements and the modern amenities. They've thought through to even put USB chargers on both sides of the bed. Also the rooms have smart TVs as well, The highlight of the room is the front covered porch. It's just fantastic to have morning coffee in the porch and enjoy the beautiful Kodai weather.

Wonderful Stay at The Hearth! I had an amazing experience at The Hearth. The ambiance was peaceful, the rooms were cozy and well-maintained, and the staff's hospitality was top-notch. The food was delicious, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Perfect for a relaxing getaway—I can’t wait to return!

Wonderful property. The atmosphere was nice and the staff behaviour was very professional. The food was mediocre but other than that, it was great. I recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kodaikanal. Make sure to have a transport ready as moving around would be tasking. Safe and peaceful environment.

The hearth was our best stay in Kodaikanal.They made sure everything was perfect and they welcomed us with welcome drink and it was neat and clean and it was very beautiful outside and parking is also available and the food was the best. The location ( ambience of holiday home resort ) and cleanliness is very good . felt the staff in hearth is understaffed . still value for money . there is also a particular communication gap for non Tamil speaking crowd but if taken to the managers , they are happy to sort it out

Wonderful hotel with amazing staff. Their rooms are built from the times of britishers and yet so well maintained and clean! The staff was very helpful and polite. The location is also very good, its on a walking distance from vattakanal.
