We had an overnight stay at Thekkady homestay. The room was super neat. Basil and his family including his brother Sohail, mother and father Abdul Rahim were decent folks. They offered us complementary coffee as a welcome gesture. The morning breakfast was good. Though the building looks ordinary from the outside, the rooms are clean and well decorated. The homestay is located at a convenient place near to traditional art centres, ayurveda massage centres etc. Very much recommended.

photos are self explanatory, nice, neat and clean room only problem was that we had to travel long for getting good food, the restaurant beside the hotel are bit costly. another advantage is that hotel is just besides the reserve forest so you can see animals from hotel window but there's a problem with it because monkey would keep coming to your room if windows and doors are not locked properly.

Very cooperative owner. Helped in finding hotel, gave directions properly. Warm welcome by owner of Thekkady Homestay. Walkable distance from wild life sanctuary. So thats really great. Nice rooms, clean and tidy with all required amenities.

Had a great stay. Nice rooms. Friendly host. Clean and neat room. Massage center and handicraft shops are there on the ground floor. Host and family is staying at first floor and the rooms are on the second floor.

The hotel room was neat and clean. It is very close to the tiger reserve. Good for family and couples. Free breakfast and pick up and drop from the kumily town. The stay was very comfortable.
