We booked Aqua Castle Houseboat for our *** Trip on 3rd September.. The food that they serve too is amazing. They take really great care of their customers. Kerala is known for its sea-food and beef delicacies, so we were not sure if we would get decent vegatarian dishes here. But we were just bowled away by the lip-smackingly delicious food that was served to us on the houseboat. It is by far the tastiest food I have eaten in Kerala and one of the best vegetarian meals of my life. You can check the photos to see how much awesomeness they serve even for just two people. It's just too much food for two souls. Hospitality at its best! Right from picking us up at the jetty entry point to taking care of all our needs on the houseboat to answering all our questions on the life along the backwaters, they were very patient and understanding. They respected our privacy and gave us ample space. Journey through the Kerala backwaters is unforgettable in itself but the hospitality shown by the ****** made it even more memorable. As for the houseboat, you can see for yourself, how clean, tidy and spacious the bedrooms and living area are. As it was enclosed, there were no mosquitoes in the evening. I would suggest people to get some form of entertainment for the evenings as it might get a little boring once the boat stops at 5:30-6 pm. One suggestion for the Aqua Jumbo management would be to kindly intimate the guests of the food menu and ask for the portion sizes, so that wastage can be avoided. We were feeling really sorry to waste so much tasty food but the quantity served for two people was a lot. I understand the appetites vary from guest to guest but asking for portion sizes can actually avoid wastage. I do not have any complaints. I would highly recommend Aqua Jumbo Houseboats to everyone looking for a great backwaters experience in Aleppey.

Very nice boat. Both driver James and cook Shashi are experts in their job. Even though we checked into boat late by 45min, we reached destination on time. Boat is very neat and entertainment facilities (TV and DVD player) are nice. Food is the best part of the boat. Driver is very much experienced and has knowledge on all the canal routes. Last, but not the least, the owner is kind enough to receive us and introduce us to the boat crew. We totally enjoyed the trip cruising through canals. One small drawback is the place where boat halts in the evening. Even though we see fields around, the place do not support for going out into it.

It was awesome experience to stay in Acqua jumbo houseboat. The staff on the boat was very polite and food was awesome. They served authentic Kerala food for lunch which was awesome. Being a North Indian, I loved the food. They served North Indian food for dinner which was delicious. I enjoyed our stay in their houseboat. They have properly maintained cleanliness of the houseboat. I would recommend everyone to stay in acqua jumbo once especially when you just want to relax and enjoy the nature of Kerala.

fantastic stay...we experienced life at alleppey beautifully at the houseboat. Lavish rooms which ws clean with all amenities and the staff cook driver and attendant all provided excellent services good and tasty food...we bought fish of our choice which thy fried for us...we enjoyed the stay...I recommend it fully

I felt really awesome. The staff are really good and the most favourite part is the food. It provides a really tasty food and the welcome drinks of coconut water. The hotel travel assistance is also really appreciated. I really love to spend in such type of houseboat. We never felt bored in this.
