CYBELE HILL RESORT

It was simply awesome !! I stayed there for one day (weekends) and it's just awesome....very kind and supporting staff ....very fantastic arrangements.....hotel rooms are very neat and tidy.....ambience and feel of entire vicinity is really unremarkable.....I really suggest one to go for this...if you are looking for extremes peace and very calm environment you have to try this once....it is at the top of a mountain....and guess what!! you have to park your car/Jeep at their office which is in lower ground/beneath the mountain and they have their own 4WD Jeep to take you up and down from the hotel which is at the top of the mountain.....this experience itself makes you to feel very adventurous trip and don't forget to have the view of green lush of coffee plantation/rubber trees on the entire route. Perfect place to stay...you can enjoy a very mesmerizing sun rise view at sharp 6am in the morning....post that...if you want you can go for their own small trekking experience...which comprises some few steps, cave and finally after climbing a rock...you can see almost every part of the waynad from the top of the mountain. These all are under Cybele Hill resort. We had tried awesome food there....which is just magnificent....it really mouthwatering and very tasty.....the taste is typically Kerala food with a limited menu but yes....you will never forget the taste. Hope, hotel management will maintain the same level of experience every time whenever I will visit again..... respect our privacy. suggested us and shared us to go for trekking and have a View of sunrise. gives us the experience of Flora and fauna of the entire vicinity.

Stayed here for 2Nights with Family in Tree house. Firstly the location of the resort is not the one which was showing in the G-maps.This location is just for parking our vehicles and to complete Checkin formalities. From there they will take us on their own 4x4 vehicle fo main resort which is approx 3km away on Hilltop. Pros: Hospitality is Excellent no single remark on it. Scenic views from the cottages. They have their own view point at hilltop where we get superb views. Rooms were well maintained. Kids Play area for families. Separate dine in for Veg & Non Veg. Swimming pool. Cons: Very Limited options in Breakfast & Dinner buffets.(Only 1Veg & 1Non-veg) Limited Hot Water supply. Poor Mobile network.(As they don't have Intercom facility and cottages are scattered in various locations sometimes we need to go all the way to kitchen to order any item which is little far and we need to climb steps). Verdict: If you are a budget traveller and fine with medium amenities this resort fulfils your requirement and suits you best.

Awesome place. Spectacular location. Mr Mathew was extremely helpful and he upgraded us from Glass house to Bamboo House and then last day in Deluxe Cottage. This is highest point of Kalpetta and gives you an 360 view of Wayanad. View from Deluxe room is best but there is privacy issue in terms of noise coming from other rooms. Bamboo cottage is best from privacy point of view but landscape is not fully visible. Net net full value for money. Food is average but after the feedback they improved. It gives you a homely food feeling that eating in some junk spicy food. Link Road of 2.5 km is a challenge but fun in Hong uphill in 4x4 jeep driven by extremely humble Mr Kurian. Staff is well behaved and takes full care of guests. If you wish to stay in the middle of raw nature, this is the place. Nature is not distorted here and has been kept as it is. Loved the stay and this resort and Mr Mathew and his team made our entire trip a memorable one. A big thanks to Cybele Resort team.

We stayed at the hotel on the last weekend of May. We had booked a glass room online. When we reached there, the room was nothing like what we saw online. So we requested for a room change. It looked like the room has not been cleaned and the there was no view from the room. We were offered a deluxe room with an additional charge. The deluxe room did not have much facilities except a good view. The wifi was not working, electricity was going down again and again, just one shampoo and soap offered in toiletries, towels were were old and little torn. They did not offer anything in breakfast except idli and chola bhatura. The cup in which tea was served was broken. Highly disappointed with the services offered. Not at all holds any value for money. Only good thing we found was the good view of hills from the hotel.
