EASTIN HOMESTAY

I booked for two days .but on arriving my booking was not confirmed as per owner and room was not available.but owner himself arranged another homestay for one day himself(he paid for it) and next day he brought me back to eastinn.enjoyed the stay.good for solo travelers.power back up present.there is no lift and property is in fourth floor but they carried my luggage for me.one con is food is very expensive.they charged 400 for chicken curry and 5rotis.other than that owner was very helpful.wil stay again when I am back in Guwahati.

The rooms were good and well maintained. They have an in house kitchen but I didn't try their food. This homestay is near to the highway but it took approx. 1.5 hr in traffic to reach there from the airport. Nearest place of interest to visit is the Assam state zoo. I felt totally safe to stay there. The caretaker was though young but very polite and good at his job.

The services are extremely poor. The room service boy when we asked for a glass of water responded by telling that all the glasses broke in the morning and he will not be able to provide.The food quality is horrible. The rooms were full of mosquitoes.

The property is little bit inside from the main road so it was not difficult to locate the property. The food quality and taste was also good. Room services provided by the staff was good simultaneously the staff conduct was good too.
