Very nice hotel. It is located near observatory hill view point and Raj bhavan. Mall road is 10 min walk from here. Padmaja naidu Zoo is aprroax 2km and Rangneet valley Ropeway is approx 3 km from this hotel. Resturant is also good although the price is higher. Thukpa is very tasty in local cuisine. It is better to book the hotel with breakfast. Because if you add breakfast later It would be costly.There are variety of food in buffet breakfast from south to north Indian and taste is also great. There are geyser and bed warmer to counter the cold environment. Top floors of hotel are great for Kanchenjunga view, although you can enjoy the view from every room of the hotel.

Amazing stay. will visit again. Room: we have booked Victoria Canvas. Best part is the Kanchenjunghaa view from large window. Room is very spacious. Staff are very polite. 10min walking distance from Mall road. surrounding scenic beauty along with roof top restaurant is really great. Bathroom is good however renovation is required as there are some cracks in the tyles and basin. Food: Complimentary breakfast is very tasty and a wide spread is available everyday. Inhouse restaurant is also good however less items are available from Bengali dishes. North Indian and Chinese items are very tasty. Highly recommended for best experience in Darjeeling. safety

Rooms are great. Check in process was seamless and quick, along with welcome drinks. On arrival staff gave us a brief info of the various amenities available in the room along with details of best time to view Kanchenjungha from the room. Resturant isn't open throughout the day, so better if you order your food well before the closing time. Food was great, tasty and enough in quantity to appease your hunger. Overall hotel staff was friendly and cordial and we enjoyed our stay at the property. Staff was friendly and cordial, fully professional.

The hotel has an amazing ambience. The staffs are really helpful. View from window is amazing, looking straight into Kanchenjunga. We stayed in VICTORIA CANVAS rooms. The service is prompt and the food is very good. You should try IDLI in the breakfast, just lovely. Mall is within 10 min walk from hotel. The hill view and the food in the restaurant.

had a great stay with family at Victoria Glossy room. rooms were clean and tidy and view was amazing and if the sky is clear you can also view the Himalayan range directly from your bed. their staffs too were polite and courteous. overall an excellent stay near Mall road if you are visiting with your family.

Amazing location.. truly heritage property. All rooms facing the beautiful kanchenjungha and valley views. Close proximity to the Mall. Walking distance from raj bhavan. My only disappointment was in room dining food availability. Otherwise perfect location for a quiet vacation.

the room must be equipped with 1) bathroom sleeper 2) hair dryer please arrange for hand made local cookies instead of ordinary biscuit the lounge is well decorated with sitting arrangement illumination at night is so beautiful and colours of light is very eye catching

the location deserves a 5 out 5. it is both secluded as well as at a walkable distance from the mall. staff behaviour was nice. breakfast spread was not so good. overall stay was good not excellent. try to book upper floor rooms if possible for the best views.

Beautiful stay with Kangchenjunga view. Food is also good. but, if you want to eat spicy food, then you should inform to chef first. Food is little bit expensive but far better when comparing to other restaurants. Especially Sanitization part is good.

Hotel is awesome in all terms. This was my 2nd stay at Hermitage. Location, lookwise, amenities, courteous staffs all are good. The only thing that can be done if the restaurant remains open till 10pm as there are no food options nearby.

It was amazing! The food is top notch. But, the best part was, luck favoured us and we could see Kanchenjunga from the room.. The warm welcome...though they were understaffed but they were always responsive at every beck and call.

experience is good. but i expected better hospitality. housekeeping did not happen during my stay ( 18th to 20th april) which is surprising for this type of resort. otherwise is good.

The hotel staffs are very polite and the room was also great. My complaints would the the lack of lift as we had to climb G-3 stairs every time for the Victoria Daisy rooms.
