Worst Hotel Experience – Unhygienic, Misleading, and UnprofessionalReview:We stayed at Hotel Hidden house fairview for 2 nights with a group of 12 adults and 3 children, booking 6 Kanchanjanga view rooms. Our experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating.Major Issues Faced:Unhygienic Rooms: All rooms had insects and spiders. This is unacceptable, especially with children involved.Rude and Unhelpful Staff: When we complained to Mr. D R Nayak, he argued with us and casually said, "This is common in the mountains." Instead of resolving the issue, he was dismissive and unprofessional.Poor Breakfast Experience: Staff stood around the buffet table just to monitor guests, not to serve. It made everyone feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.Neglect Toward Children: We requested milk and bread for the kids, and shockingly, refused to provide it.Inaccessible Location: The hotel is not accessible by vehicle. We had to walk 100 meters with all our luggage to reach the property. This was never mentioned during booking.Our experience was nowhere close to what those reviews claimed.Pathetic Service: Overall, the service was terrible, and the stay was a nightmare for our entire family.

Probably one of the best hotel I stayed in recent times. I stayed there in mid Jan 2024 with my wife during our pelling trip in room 102. It has great view of Kanchenjunga from the room. The room comes with a balcony 1 queen bed and 1 double bed with a bathtub and 24*7 running hot water. It's very neat and clean. It was very cold so we wanted room heater they arranged immediately though you need to pay extra. Their room service is very fast and food is also good. Their restaurant also having a kanchenjunga view. Only issue is you need to take 15-20 stairs down from old helipad gorund to reach the hotel though they will arrange for your luggage and all. The room service guy shivam was awsome. I will choose to stay here again for sure.

The hotel is at a good location but to reach the hotel u need to walk/climb lot of stairs which is full of water and slippery. The room had a good balcony with a nice view but the bedsheet were not clean. On complainung the same their staff argued that it is how its and they wont change anything. However after calling at reception, they agreed to change the bedsheet. The washroom was also not great with seatpot covers broken. Food was good and overall service was decent but they need to work a lot on thier cleanniness and hygiene within the room.

Hotel Hidden House Fair View is a good hotel with commendable service. The quality of food is impressive, and hygiene is well-maintained in the dining area. One of the highlights of the stay is the breathtaking scenic view of Mount Kanchenjunga from the dining space—it truly enhances the overall experience. I stayed in Room 305, which was slightly damp and had some issues with water seepage. However, aside from that, the stay was comfortable, and the overall experience was positive.
