Houseboat By Ashoka

Houseboat by Ashoka is very beautiful, cleaned ,well equipped & furnished. During my trip of srinagar with my family, I spend 2 days in Srinagar in this houseboat at Srinagar Dal lake & found their services, food & other things very good. The hotel manager Javed bhai have taken all care of our stay and all services, Thank you Houseboat by ashoka for such a memorable stay.but the thing which made me happy here was nothing else than the hospitality. I would certainly recommend staying for at least 2 nights in this houseboat and enjoy the serene and pleasant feeling which it offers. Houseboats are designed in such a way that not only couples can stay comfortably with complete privacy but big families can enjoy booking the full houseboat. Each houseboat consists of three rooms with attached bathroom, a common balcony, drawing room, dining hall and kitchen. All the rooms of the Houseboat have hand-crafted ceilings along with hand-crafted cedar paneled walls. The floors and corridor of the Houseboat are thickly covered with traditional and colorful Kashmir carpets. If you are looking for a true Kashmiri Hospitality in the peaceful Dal lake in lap of Himalayas, this is the place you should opt for. During our stay at our Houseboats, we get to enjoy the mesmerizing view of sunrise and sunset from the deck or balcony. Overall, a very good experience & worth visiting again.

We recently went to Kashmir for holidays.. Never been into a houseboat before so we were excited to experience something new. I searched for a few options online while my 1st day stay in Kashmir. And I somehow ended on house boat by Ashoka website. ( www.ashokahouseboats.com ) I called them for enquiry. I must say their reservation team were very friendly. They explained us all the details we asked for and finally we made a booking for 1 day stay at their houseboat. The accommodation was superb and the staff did everything they could do to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms were fantastic, spacious and luxurious. The most special time came at night.. They lake view from the boat was wonderful. It gave us the lifetime experience. We thank you for such a great stay. Will surely stay gain of ever we visit Kashmir again. :)

It was so wonderful to be there in the houseboat. truely amazing view and atmosphere. The interiors are so well decorated and it feels so luxurious. The staff is coorporative. Food is like home made which is like so good. I liked the place and would like to visit again. Recommended to all. It is something different and should try it.
