Worst experience I ever had till date. They have given only their balcony view to allure d visitors while booking. After someday's of confirmed booking they informed about the stiff stairs to reach the home stay & made an offer to shift to another hotel owned by them paying much more high cost . After reaching there we got literally shocked to see the entrance of d home stay. It caused breathing trouble to all of us to finally reach the rooms. Entering the room it seemed pathetic to spent even one night there. Our dinner was ordered previously as we reached there late & nothing was available near the home stay. We were served completely rotten food items which charged almost the equal amount of any other reputed restaurant. We pre-booked car for sightseeing from the home stay and this time also we were harassed a lot. The driver were not well informed about our package tour by the home stay owner & out of confusion we received very rude behavior from the drivers and have to pay extra amount. We had booked the cars for the full package tour but they were instructed to visit only half the places by the home stay owner. Getting extremely irritated we decided to leave d home stay after 2 days though we booked the home stay for 3 days by paying the full amount. When we requested the owner to arrange us a car for drop, he told us he couldn't provide us any car before 12 at noon but on the very day at 9:30 a.m he asked us to get ready by 10 a.m, otherwise he would cancel the car though we had already paid the advance rs 1000/- for d car. We informed the owner that it was impossible to get ready within 30 min as I had my mother who is a senior citizen with very poor eyesight but he didn't listen to anything, instead he cut the water supply dot at 10 a.m though the room was booked for whole the day. When we complaint he threatened us by saying " don't raise your voice otherwise you can't leave the place " which means he would make our lives at risk.

Pros: Host is very friendly and well spoken. Hotel amenities are perfect. Clean beds and washroom with a pouch with essential toiletries. Food is also available at reasonable rate. Excellent panoramic view of mountain range and with the table and umbrella, I thoroughly enjoyed sitting out for hours and specifically late at night star gazing. Cons: Ventilation: Rooms are not well ventilated. Had there been an exhaust fan in the washroom, the toilet smell would not have spread in the room. Solution: Carry or ask for room freshner until they decide to fit an exhaust. Hygiene: There are cats at the property and they tend to jump in through the window. There was a stink of cat poop outside the room. Solution: Keep the windows shut while you walk away. Location: Very steep inclined road. Quite difficult for city guys who doesn't have much of hiking exposure. Solution: null. Get fit. :-)

1. No room heater was present. They charge for it other than the rent. 2. They switch off the geyser after 10 pm. If you have to do anything in the toilet, u will have to do it with cold water. 3. The way to the homestay is basically on a steep slope. So it's quite uncomfortable for old people to climb it. But it's pretty much near to Darjeeling Mall.4. Otherwise the owner and staffs are very friendly and foods are fresh.5. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. Although u can't see the mighty kancheonghonga from here, but obviously u can get a glimpse of snow peaked mountains of north sikkim.6. The silence and serenity of the homestay overwhelmed me. It's so peaceful.

It is far away from mall road, the path is too steep that is enough for getting breathing difficult, water geysers are not working there. Amidst all of these, the hotel can cut off your water supply just by saying ' edhar pani sona se bhi mehenga milta hai ' . Economic rooms are too small for 2 people. There is no facilities of providing drinking water ( i have requested them to provide drinking water twice but no services are delivered to me ) . My suggestion to all readers don't take these home-stay rooms, u can get better options in mall road which will be cheaper, more organized, spacious, near to mall road .

The view is very very good but other than that everything is very poor . They charge for the heater according to hours and thats unethical to charge in such extreme chilli weather .The whole room use to precipitate water every single minute due to which the room becames extremely dangerous for electric appliances + they dont have any system for hot water during washroom .The water is so freezing cold yet they always use to switch off the geyser main switch from their side.And they frequently use to cut the current source .Apart from the breathtaking view nothing is good .

Pro: 1. View is awesome from hotel. 2. Very Calm place. 3. Clean Room. Cons: 1. Hotel is far away from mall market, you have to go very down and Senior Citizens have to face lots of problem due to its location. 2. Amenities provided by hotel is paid one like laundary services and many more such things. 3. Hotel provided only 1 litre of Mineral Water per day. 4. They did not specify their amenties clearly so take a wise decision while selecting hotels.

Hotel is very good..room is very very good condition and bathroom is very very safe ,hygienic Maintain and very clean and safe and room owner sambhu is very very well behaved and very good person and food is also very tasty 😋and view is also awesome.overall I am rating 9 out of 10. hotel is very safe and peaceful...and we'll behaved by owner and very very helpful in every situation.

the stay was horrible. no electricity, no water, zero accountability and responsibility on part of the management. the homestay itself is in a remote corner and for that, we paid for the room we could have gotten great rooms at more convenient places never book this place ever even if you have to stay on the streets.

Good Homestay. Walking for 15 minutes from the taxi stand was hectic but you can enjoy the sightseeing of CR Das road while walking, It's really beautiful. Room was good food was excellent. A Bengali guy is running the Homestay with two Nepali assistants and they are very courteous.

It's really awesome to stay at this homestay. Nice view from room and balcony. Clean bedroom and bathroom. Water and geyser are available 24×7. Mineral water is available. Caretaker and all the members are good people, well behaved and quick responded. 👍 As like home.

Horrible experience. pathetic!! no mirror , no towels , the curtains were dirty . No lights in the washroom & even the guy. he does not even know how to talk with the guest . Hotel for Don't go wrong.

it was not bad, 1-2 days stay is fine , and the view is good, location is hectic as it's a down steep, heavy luggages is. it recommended it was a little cold here, a blanket warmer could help
