worst..worst...worst..... i m giving it one star..that is more enough rating...because this hotel doesnt deserve to be even one star.... its located in so remote location from the city centre that you have to spare atleast 2 hrs to reach out there..... alsoo its so bhul bhulaya and lonely area that you cant even think of roaming with family even on daytime.... when i checked there... there is only owner and in the service name one attendant in the entire hotel....in room.... bed pillows so hard to sleep... no toileteries..... just n below than average room... in breakfast... they provide few half burnt breads with tea and say...this is your complimentary breakfast.... if demand anything else than it...they say... this is only our today menu... one thing will be on next day... and on complaining goibibo...about all this....owner called me up... and scolded me as i m his servant..... and asked badly to leave out his property... yet we had booked this so called resort.... for 4 nights after seeing so good reviews....but friends be alert if you are thinking of booking this.... my family get do tortured..that we had planned to book other hotel instantly only after one bad nightmare experience.... and also one main thing...which shows the worst mentality of the owner..... when i booked other hotel and asked owner that we r checkin out and want our luggage back.... they returned by luggage ... and one of my expensive bags of brand name prada..which i purchased only last year for rs.20000 ...they had torned it out.... and destroyed it intentially.... now guys you can better decide... that if you are comin for holidays ... for peace of mind or for peices of mind

Our group of 3 families ( 9 persons ) spent 4 nights in Nigeen Residency Resort which is located in Nagin lake which is clean peaceful area with tremendous scenic beauty of snow clad mountains. The rooms were very clean , hygienic, the dinning room/Restaurant- Bahaar is very spacious and best was the sitting lounge facing the lake.The food is prepared fresh and was delicious. Mr. Shah is very caring with personal attention round the clock . Mr.Shah arranged for us complete Kashmir tour to Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Pahelgam and other places during our stay including vehicle booking. So if you want the Best Hospitality, comfortable stay , best food, personal attention and a trip to remember life long then plan to visit Kashmir and contact Mr.Shah for arranging your complete package.

Nigeen Residency Resort offers a amazing lake and mountain views from the Garden& veranda - the perfect spot to simply gaze and read a book and have kashmiri tea-kahwa. The Resort was incredibly clean, beautifully decorated and very well maintained, with beautiful wooden features. My room was large with lake view and the bathroom was with bath tub. The hosts were amazing.The staff is polite and listens to every query we made. They organized several trips to visit some wonderful historic and scenic places in the valley, the Old City, quiet authentic Kashmir spots. The food served was best and the quality was good and was tasty. i recommend this beautiful resort to every one and hope to return back in future.

I stayed in the houseboat with family for 4 days. It was the best decision we made by booking Nigeen Residency Resort. It was great decision to stay in Nagin lake compared to Dall lake because of factors such as cleanliness, peace and great mountain view in the front. This decision was further proved great by the fact that it turned out to be most luxurious Experience with great options of food, customization of the services and cleanliness of course. Caretaker Mr.shah was quite cooperative and food served had great taste. I would recommened every one to stay in this Resort for great service, food, location, Decor , feel of Nagin lake and great sunset views from the front.

Mentioned address of the Hotel is Nigeen Lake but Hotel is not in Nigeen Lake. Hotel is in Lal Bazar which is really far from Nigeen Lake. Yes you can see Nigeen lake from your balcony in Hotel but to reach this hotel you have to take full round of lake and Lal Bazar and in the end you will find it at the corner of Lal Bazar. At the Time of booking Manager may tell you that they will send Shakira to pick you up in nigeen lake but they will deny on the day of Check-In. They will show you big menu for selection of food but when you will order they will say that it is not available because they make only few items as per their convenience and quality of food is also average.

Visiting Kashmir was one of my dream. So, I thought of going there in my honeymoon. As others, I was a little skeptical about the security over there. But I experienced completely different over my stay in Kashmir at Nigeen Residency . All my good memories are possible because of the great hospitality of Mr.Shah. They not only planned my trip diligently but also taken all the burden of every small problems that I would have faced on the trip. All we had done was enjoy the beauty of the valley. A big THANK YOU for your effort and I truly appreciate it. I recommend Nigeen Residency for a nice and memorable trip.

I have to write about the personal touch given by Mr.Shah Shiblee , Our family of 6 stayed at Nigeen Residency Resort for three nights and Mr Shah made sure that the warm fresh food were ready and the heater was on when we came back from our tour. Everything was in place, the room was clean and warm, we felt so comfortable. I personally felt safe staying in this big Resort because Mr.Shiblee made sure everything was well and cared for, up to the warming of the bed.The resort is very well maintained and provide excellent service to their guests. Such personal touch, I shall never forget.

Guest User 5/5 Relaxing and enjoyable with wonderful people serving I stayed at Nigeen Residency Resort with my family for 3 days. It was a fabulous experience. We used to sit on the balcony for hour together and enjoy the calmness & serenity of the place. Mr. Shah the owner is a very hospitable man. He personally meets you and takes care of even a small need of yours. Rooms are very comfortable with 24 hrs hot/ cold running water. Food was amazing. The beauty of the lake, mountains & nature is breath-taking and one feels very calm being surrounded by it. We really had a memorable stay.

This is a guest house managed by family only. This is not a resort. You ask for tea at 10 p.m., they dont have. You give them milk, they dont make tea. You take their chair out for breakfast, its not allowed. Guys, this is a place so far away from city, autowalla charged us 500 to get food from outside. The people are very rude. They dont have staff only. They provide very limited services. Food is very bad in this place. They charged us rs.40 for watery tea. Dont expect anything from here. This has been the most horrible experience of my life. It is a nightmare.

Location is pathetic is like way way off..the food service is really bad..the rooms are very good. Overall everything was good..They don't have much staff...Lacks in that..so the food service quality was not good basically they will take 2 to 3 hours to process Your Dinner order..although food is of a good quality but again not up to the mark.. basically what you get for 300 rs plate, what u are serving, the quantity for that price is mismatch and the biggest thing is that u takes long to serve that food and location that i will really really not suggest to anyone..

Stayed on 30 April, resort is located on one side of nigeen lake as you can reach there either by shikara or by road, view of mountains and lake is awesome. The resort is very well maintained and provide excellent service to their guests. Mr shah owner of resort is very nice person and he himself take care of each guest. Food is also very good. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Located a.5 km in a very narrow lane where car or taxi can't turn. Took my taxi driver 2 hours to find. Description of hotel at website is misleading. Staff not courteous enough. All in all a terrible experience. I did not find my room to my expectation. When asked to upgrade to a better room they asked exorbitant amount as difference much above their printed tariff.

The stay was not too good. Staff was good but the location is terrible to find. Very much inside the city, in some loacl streets it was located, which is not easily reachable. Food that they served, its quality was bad. and the room service was extremely swift, what ever we had ordered they fulfilled that after 1 or 1.5 hour.

Very far from city, wrong address in Google and website, no inverter/genrator and light goes in morning at 5 am. owner is rude and will scare for everything. ...not recommended. ....ample hotels are around dal lake chose them ....don't chose this one.

Hotel staff is very frindly and cooperative, personal care was very very amazing, they take care of each and evrything food to services must go here if you want to be isolated without crowd bcause location is little far alway from dal lake

Hotel was fine but far from Dal lake...too much far, took 1 hour to reach Dal Lake from the hotel..They had provided us a lake side room in complimentary....property was clean..and the delicacies served by them was also good.

Stayed for three nights with my family. Loved the location, hospitality, food. My family enjoyed the most at nigeen residency resort. Had come on the recommendation of my friend and just enjoyed the stay here.
