Paristan Houseboat was booked @270 + tax. After reaching there, the owner tried to haggle for some extra amount beyond the booking price (saying that the quoted price was too less!!), which I declined. Very unprofessional conduct at best, and an attempt to con at worst. It is almost 1 km from Ghat 15 on the Boulevard road and they dont provide any pickup or drop off service. I paid between Rs 50 to Rs 100 for every trip by boat from Houseboat to the road or back. The beds in Paristan were creaking and the rooms had a lot of mosquitoes. Apart from the above, the decor was fine for the price. Overall, a very unsatisfactory experience even for this cheap price.
