Rainbow Inn

We booked 2 deluxe rooms for 2 days and I must say the rooms are nowhere near shown here. The rooms were damp and smelling. We complained multiple times post which after one day, our rooms were changed.The breakfast is not served in the same hotel, there is another Lumino hotel where you will be served Breakfast which is not mentioned anywhere. You literally have to go out of your hotel to get a complimentary breakfast. There is no kitchen in the hotel so you can't even order food or tea easily.The next big problem is the location, the hotel is located on a road uphill away from the main road and Google maps/people around don't seem to know the proper location of the hotel. We drove around half an hour or so to find a hotel.The only saving grace was a change of rooms the next day, but overall "Not a very pleasant experience".

Rainbow inn... It was a great experience staying there at this hotel. As soon as I reached the hotel, staffs gave me a warm welcome. The manager realised that I was tired n told me to do the checkin formalities later n gave a choice for 3 rooms n Iater I chose the room I wanted.. All Basic amenities was there on the table well arranged. Later after my meeting was over they gave me a schedule to out n have a look around some placed which I haven't gone in munnar. The staffs were friendly, the rooms are worth the rate,for couples n families its safe as its in the center of the Town.As a business traveler I felt more comfortable as it s the town and all near by location are walkable.

We booked this hotel but by 5:20 pm someone from the hotel called me and told me they are full or something and theyll arrange some other hotel. This was just minutes before reaching our destination. Then they gave us a very bad room too and asked me how much i paid and all which is totally unnecessary. I tried to contact the customer support but my problem wasnt listed in the list of queries.

Staff was nice and cooperative. However, this is the only positive experience I had. rooms were average, no laundry system, they didn't even provide towels and regret on the excuse of laundry unavailability. No drinking water provision, they changed my room in between, no AC, no fan. you have to rely on natural weather of Munnar.
