unlike other properties, this place is peaceful and away from the crowds. its a 5 km drive from thekkady. the staff were welcoming and the property met our expectations. it is near to the cardamom plantations and there were lot of birds ( we sighted a hornbill in the property). the restaurant was good. well maintained and staffs were friendly and catered to our every needs. i would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. truly worth the money!!

excellent and well maintained property. as it is a farm resort we can enjoy the nature at its pure form. highly supportive staffs and meet and clean pool. highly recommended for family, friends and couples.

A Perfect Escape I recently stayed at the Shalimar Spice Resort, and it was an unforgettable experience. The resort is beautifully nestled in lush greenery, offering a peaceful retreat from the city. Nestled in thick forest , beautifully created , this property is one of the best in this area. Everything about this property right from entrance to the cottage decor is beautiful. The staff is warm and hospitable. I would visit again for sure for a longer period .

I'll classify it as pros and consPros:1) It feels like living inside a forest. Full greenery.2) Not much crowded 3) Food is really tasty 4) Swimming pool is good tooCons :1) No AC ( Not sure about Villa. I stayed in room )Most of the time you wont need AC though. 2) Fan is also far from bed. So it's getting little hot in the night. 3) Went for a massage. There was no pressure at all. It just felt like applying oil. When asked that said thats a different package. So thats total waste of money. ...more

a very good resort.. amidst thick plantation of about 6 acres.. very aesthetic and nature aligned cottages.. food was good.. breakfast menu excellent.. service was good and housekeeping n reception staff polite and courteous... if you want to relax and enjoy nature, this is the place to be in... they also have massage , yoga , and arrange for nature walks and jungle trails tours too

i didn't feel it's worth money. its just located inside a forest and thats it. if u like staying in forest vibe then go ahead. the road to this place is very very bad. the room is very very basic not anything spl to the price. pool is very small like a plunge pool. staffs are very welcoming and warm. it's complimentary menu is very basic. very limited menu which have dosa and poori. some cut fruits which is like 500 rs and they serve u when u order.
