i recently stayed at gulmarg regency, shimla. the hotel is easily accessible from the bus stand, railway station, and mall road, which is a big plus for travelers.
however, i found the staff behavior lacking in professionalism and courtesy. being from the hospitality industry myself, i expect a basic level of politeness while interacting with guests, which was missing.
cleanliness also needs improvement, especially in the common areas and bathrooms.

there was no ventilation in room. room was smell due no ventilation. it was horrible to me. i requested to hotel management to change the room and they changed the room on next day.

the location is good, but the cleanliness is very bad like the blanket, towels were smelling. the bathroom is also not cleaned and properly managed.

With the set of room rent, the service, room quality are justifiable. Though, they could provide a good quality blanket with a sheet. According to me, those who are looking for 2 star hotel, it is the go to place

worst hotel around India till now I stayed , manager is very rude , I called him to take my car to the hotel from the main road but he told driver was not available. Bathroom is very unhygienic and untidy. they didn't provide water bottles and proper toiletry nor they have kettle for hot water. they don't have restaurant in their hotel but they have menu for food which they brought from food vendors outside the hotel which we don't know how they are cooking.. It has the best location. The interior of the room is very beautiful. But the bathroom is not very cleaned and i felt its very compact. The food on the menu are bit expensive.

Very nice stay. Location is very good. Walking distance from Mall Road, Lower Bazar, Church and Ridge.
