Good things about this hotel is its location ;at Colombo junction near to Market road and Canon shed road; located very near to Marine drive, Subhash park and Indira Priyadarshini park. Many eateries are also nearby. Especially Ceylon bakers, The owen, Caravan icecream cafe, Rahumaniya, Milna booth on wheels etc. Another highlight is that I got it at an affordable rate per night that too Saturday and Sunday. Good things about this hotel is its location ;at Colombo junction near to Market road and Canon shed road; located very near to Marine drive, Subhash park and Indira Priyadarshini park. Many eateries are also nearby. It was a good experience staying at Palmyra. I rate 4/5 based on the room size, bed, and location, for low budget. But i won't recommend to those who require super clean premises. Bit old property that require more aggressive cleaning and maintenance, especially pest control.

Disappointing Experience at Palmyra Grand Inn. I'm extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Palmyra Grand Inn . Initially, I was assigned a room with significant issues - the toilet was leaking, and the closet was damaged. When I reported the problem to the receptionist, the response was unprofessional and shameful. Despite this, I was shifted to a different room. However, the new room had its own set of issues. "Disappointing StayUnfortunately, my recent stay at this property was a letdown. The room resembled a lodge and was in poor condition. There were numerous flies, and the cleanliness was subpar. Housekeeping fell short of expectations.On the bright side, the front desk staff, particularly one during check-in, were very helpful.However, the complimentary breakfast being provided at a nearby restaurant instead of the hotel was surprising.Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend this property without significant improvements."
