Excellent Stay just near to forest. Very supportive owner. Budget friendly neat and clean room very close to forest. we can see lot of animals roaming around the cottage.

It was a wonderful experience staying with uncle. Uncle have a lot of knowledge it was very interesting talking to him. The rooms are clean and the place is very beautiful. We spotted some deers nearby in the morning

Location is an ideal natural setting. One can see monkeys, deers sitting in the balcony. Late at night the day when we where staying 3 wild elephants has passed through our guest house we couldn't see it but heard the shouts of forest guards trying to show away the animals. Owner of the guest house is a very learned, knowledgeable Parsee senior citizen (Yazdi Uncle) with great energy and warmth and hospitality. He even prepared Spanish sandwich and coffee for breakfast. Stay was pleasant and may try to go again.

I booked this stay for Rs. I was with my wife and 1.5 year old son. I thought by seeing pictures, that rooms are big and enough space for my son to play. When i checked in i found rooms are very very congested. i was very unhappy with rooms and asked care taker to cancel my booking within 10 minutes .Care taker cancelled my booking. If you are on a holiday for one or two days and ends up in rooms like this, then whole trip will be disaster. I dont think this place is suitable for those who are with children. Voice from adjacent rooms might disturb. So be careful.

Wonderful place to stay and enjoy for those who want to take a break from maddening city life and connect with nature. Yazdy is a wonderful host. He was attentive to our needs and personally ensured that we were comfortable. He is a great at conversation and should you spend some time with him under the stars, he will share great stories of elephants and tigers who have visited the property from time to time. When in Waynad, looking to spend time up and close to nature, head straight to Woodside Homestay
