Hello and welcome to Casa Kalista .I’m Saif, the co-creator and host of this peaceful luxury escape in the heart of Malavli, just 10 kilometers from Lonavala. I’m incredibly excited to share this space with you, not just as a host, but as someone who has poured his heart into building something truly meaningful. My Professional Background By education and profession, I come from a legal background. Law has taught me discipline, precision, and the importance of structure but life, travel, and people have taught me everything else. While my roots lie in law, my spirit has always been drawn toward experiences, culture, and spaces that make people feel something. You could say I’m a lawyer by degree, but a host by instinct. The Traveller in Me Before I ever dreamt of creating a villa, I was always on the move curious, inspired, and wide-eyed. I’ve travelled across countries, stayed in homes built with love, hotels that were more art than architecture, and boutique spaces tucked away from the world. And in every place I visited, I observed something a detail, a gesture, a moment that stayed with me.I’ve cherished the emotional experience of travel. It taught me what real hospitality feels like. I began to understand that hosting isn’t just about giving people a clean room and fresh towels it’s about evoking a feeling. Of being cared for. Of comfort. Of beauty. And that idea became the seed for Casa Kalista.
