Pearl Spot Houseboat

Rooms are clean, we really loved the food served and the houseboat is maintained well. Only issue factor is staffs behavior. The cook is very rude. We 8 people booked a room on shared basis. We checked with the Manager and bought fish from outside also agreed to pay extra amount to them for cooking. After entering to the houseboat their staff refused to cook the fish since we bought it from outside. Also he was telling he will cook only if we buy fish from the place where he is asking us to buy. We don't understand why someone has to tell where I need to buy stuffs what I need to eat. Also in the place he was telling they were selling iced fishes not fresh one. We were completely frustrated and asked the Manager since he agreed to buy it from outside. After sometime Manager called and told us that we need to pay some tips to their staff to cook the food. Already he has taken 750 rs to cook 2.5 kg fish and again he was asking us to pay 500 extra to their staff. We were like helpless since we made the booking and bought the stuffs also paid the extra amount. We were force to pay 1250 rs extra just to prepare fish fry. They always trying to get some amount from us.Another major issue is AC timing. I was told that AC will be on from 8.30pm to 6.30am. While having our dinner we asked them to switch on AC in the dining area but they said AC will be on in rooms only not in common areas. Somehow we managed to finish our dinner and went for sleep. Exactly at 3 am they switched off the AC and entire room was very hot. we were not at all getting sleep and came out of the room by 4.30 am. When we checked with them they said we dint switch it off might be power went off. But all the lights & fans are ON and power is not there only for AC. We ended up with no sleep after 4.30 am. We checked with some guests who stayed in another houseboat and they said AC was on for entire night. For every guest hospitality matters alot. irude staffs you are going to lose your business. As I said I liked the place, food and maintenance. but your staff behavior made me to not to recommend your place for anyone.. they are always money minded.

We had an awesome stay in pearl spot houseboat. Ours was a 6bhk houseboat with extremely clean rooms( please check the photos). It had attached toilet bathroom, 5 star like bedroom with AC.AC is switched on only in the night. There is a common huge dinning room at the top with tv, ac. We were provided with great food which included fried fish, chicken curry,rice,chapati, sambhar,beetroot curry,pickle,mix veg curry. Breakfast included idli, chai and omlette. Crew members were extremely friendly, helpful and cordial. I have also attached the group pic of all members along with this post. I and my family extremely enjoyed the stay. The quality of the houseboat as compared to other houseboat was extremely awesome with very good and clean interiors. I would suggest that you should book pearl spot houseboat and you would surely enjoy the luxurious stay.

It's nice ambience and good serving but small problem is language serving people don't know English so I am unable found what they said and didn't understand what I said.. Try to overcome it and everything is good thanks pearl spot we really enjoyed..🙂

Booked 2 deluxe room but got only one deluxe room and other one doesn't look like a deluxe. there is lot of difference between 2 rooms. I don't suggest this for families.
