Stalin Pleasant Park

I travel often and stay in all kinds of hotels but this was by far one of the worst experiences of my life. The only pro I can think of, was the location and food was decent. There were cockroaches in the room / bathroom, leakage. Lots of noise and most of the staff did not know any language except Tamil. If you have a hotel, your guests will be outsiders who won't know the local language so that made zero sense to hire people who were monolingual. It felt like a cheap motel experience not worth the I spent for one night. Would not recommend unless you need to be in that location.. Poor hygiene, lack of comfort and accessibility. Spent an hour trying to find someone who would understand my room service order..

That night I spent the entire night awake in fear. It was very scary. Cockroach mosquitoes and large mosquitoes kept biting the bed and floor all night. I changed my room to another one but the same problem occurred there too. I could not go anywhere else at midnight. It was a very scary stay.

Pros: very close to metro station Cons: Small stinky and noisy rooms. Ancient noisy AC. Small and smelly toilets. Water leaked from the washbasin in the bathroom. Cleaning staff who yell at each other throughout the night in the corridor. Dirty sheets and towels. Definitely not worth the price.

stalin pleasant park hotel has good deluxe rooms with wifi available. nice staff and clean bathroom. breakfast available as complimentary, it is very close to the bus stand and so many shops and restaurants nearby. marina beach, chennai central railway station is very near..
