Sameer Cottages | Wooden Beach Huts

please read this carefully before you book the rooms. We booked sea facing room but when we reached we were given some other room that was too bad, you can't even see the washroom, ac was not working, etc. when we talked to the the counter about the room, she started to argue with us that someone has already booked the sea-facing room so the room is not available. but after one hour of discussion, she gave the room. but let me tell you the room wasn't even worth the price because if you are paying this much and you don't even get good things and everything else then the view, then why to book the room?. 1. washroom was so dirty. water was leaking from the flush, toilet seat cover was unfixed, no toilet paper, no soaps nothing's. even shower water pressure was too low. 2. Room- only small led bulb was there in the room, I mean what is this? no room service is there, you have to clean all by yourself. a broomstick will be given to you. one Ac remote has to be shared with another room Ac. A thin blanket was provided. 3. Staff was no responding, bad attitude towards guests. . the only thing I liked was the food from the restaurant which I think was not a part of the cottages. because to eat you have to go outside.

Don't book NON-AC.NON-AC rooms are in worst conditions, Not a single thing is good in that room, it is not completely sealed, open to bugs, there was huge gap in bathroom to bedroom door, a snake can easily come in your room and can enter in your bags, staff treatment is horrible, everytime they say to this is hut it is as it is, but their AC rooms are in OK conditions, they asked us to pay extra to switch rooms.There is no parking available, we had to pay 360₹ extra per day for parking.Overall experience was horrible, Don't ever book in this hotel.They have only single light bulb in the room, the geyser was not working, the fan has no speed control so it stays either on or off.Bugs was openly roaming in the room and bathroom.Only thing that was good was the restaurant and restaurant staff. Food taste was awesome, service was perfect.

Staff were very rude, Specially the person who is looking for resturant and food is horrible .They are not providing even water bottles in rooms.Reaching their is very difficult because you have to carry your luggage and walk through beach sand to reach your cottage or pay Rs.100. Per small bag(7kg) and Rs.150 per big bag (15kg). This rate given by the person who is at reception. And we pay for this too. You will find very good and nice cottage at same rates just nearby sameer cottage because on this beach this is not only the one cottage so many (more than 50) cottages are their.Sameer cottages must be a last choice.Try to avoid if other options are available at palolem beach.

the stay in sameer cottage, wooden house, was fantastic. people around for service were very nice . i would thank the lady in reception who arranged accommodations for one more day. also, very nice people in restaurants and testy foods. i liked those. the beach views were very neat and clean and amazing experience. thank you for all. i would love to visit again.
