HOTEL SAPPHIRE INTERNATIONAL

this was our second time stay at this hotel... last time booked in year 2017 and our experience was good that time.hoping to feel the same we booked again for three days from 15 to 18 Feb 2022. now comes to honest review1.Regarding complimentary breakfast - 4-5 different dishes are offered everyday.. Puri bhaji and chhole bhature is op and taste very well.. everything is finely balanced like taste and spices etc. other items are also good...4 stars out of 5 stars for breakfast. 2. Regarding room - we booked normal room.. hotel has given us a swimming pool view... but room was not good and smelling a bit .also it was not well maintained and giving normal lodge feeling... to this we requested the reception for change in our room.. on some extra bucks.. we are offered room no 216 on first floor.. . to be honest it is the best hotel room this hotel has... sea view and swimming pool is clearly visible and also gives good view of the hotel as well. 3. Regarding location- This hotel is located at chakratirtha Road, and very close to Sea Beach.. within a walking distance. Other hotels located at golden beach at Swarga dwar also good but sea beach there is too crowded. If u like crowd and loves shopping go for hotel located at Swarg dwar... however if you like calmness, privacy, less crowd and clean beach... you can opt for this hotel. 4. Room service and hotel support staff are very polite and very courteous..always there for you.. room service is very good.. food is delivered within 15-25 minutes.. food taste is awesome especially fish curry and fish Kalia.. must try for non vegeterains... towels, pillow and bedsheets are changed every day without reminding the staff to do the same. 5. We booked a Sightseen tour at the hotel... first day for Konark and Nandankanan zoo was good. however on the second day for chilka lake, we were cheated by the car driver Mr. Munna, he took us to the unknown boat club 10 kms before the original chilka boating point at sampada.. we reminded him to take us to sampada boat club..however, he denied on every point... boat club there were offering boat ride for Rs. 4250/per boat with no per passenger option available.However at original sampada boat club,option for per passenger of 300 rs in shared basis or full boat option at much lesser cost are available. we have reported this incident to the hotel reception, however, no heed was paid towards this and insensitive reception staff refused to help on this. my recommendation is that to please take note of this and always enquire first at drop points before booking any sightseen tour from the hotel. 6. Bonus fact - 1.jagannath temple just 3 kms away.. autos available right in front of the hotel.. Auto fare Rs. 1502.Golden Beach - 2 kms - 150 Rs. 3. bargain on everything before you purchase in sea beaches, tourist attraction points ...if they ask for 400 for anything.. start your offer with 50 rupees first

the property is amazing .. location is awesome just near to the beach. service up to the mark ..hospitality is great.specially i would like to mention the owner of this hotel Mr. Agarwal.( both brothers) they are such good human beings. overall I have a great experience. would like to visit once again ...❤❤

AC rooms with pool. Restaurant also very good. Food taste as well as staff behaviour. on duty manager also very cooperative. Room no. 311 was having some AC problem. They arranged room no.314 . thanks for pleasant stay.
