Xandari Riverscapes Houseboat

Pros : 1) Staff were very courteous and helpful.. They guided and kept informing about the location and plan.. 2) Amenities were good and you shall feel cozy.. 3)Food was tasty. If you are non-veg and fish lover then you will love it.. But if you are vegetarian then menu is limited but food will be tasty and chef will provide the varieties to choose from.. 4)I got complimentary snake boat ride for 1 hr in package which was very nice as it took us to local people residences.. 5) It is good and safe for couples as you will get enough time with yourself and your partner..(PAMBA boat) 6) Boat won't travel for whole night.. it will stop at lake side.. Sunset view will be amazing.. 7) Also there is arrangement at front of the boat and in room at side to have a good view of outside which I liked very much.. Cons: 1)Only problem was that at night there will be lots of insects so you will be unable to eat at outside.. They had only a fan which was not enough.. They should make some arrangement with net.. 2) Also management should guide their staff of to not to stare at guests of different boats.. I noticed few staff of other boats of river escape were staring at us when boat stopped at lake side.. They kept on staring and we had to move from there.. It is sometime uncomfortable.. Thank God staff at Pamba were very good.. Overall the trip were awesome with Goibibo and Xandari Riverescape House boats.. Thanx..

I and my wife were the only guests aboard. It didn't take the offshore team much time to get us on board the house boat. The crew made us very comfortable. The pilot explained to us the topography and the lifestyle of the backwaters. It included a short trip on a gondola to see the culture of the people there. The food cooked was par excellence. The room was spacious, with a large window. Bathroom was clean. Highly recommended.

The houseboat stay is pleasant n rooms clean n maintained.But it can not be considered as Premium/Luxury houseboat. The charges are very high but food does not even include any seafood except fish. No rooftop sitting area available. AC will be available at sleeping hours in the night and the whole day you have to sulk in the hot n humid climate of Allepey.

It's a good houseboat and without tv on board which is seriously required on these hoseboats as they tie the boat after 5 :30 in the evening somewhere in the middle of the river after which you have nothing to do rather than killing the mosquitoes.If you are looking for the tv don't go for this houseboat
